Today Food safety is no longer a choice, it’s a legal requirement in the Food Industry. No company wishes to appear on the front page of the Sunday papers or in radio talks disclosing negligence. Damages to brands are long lasting, consumers have long memories as do the media.

Within international companies food and personal safety is almost a religion and short cuts are not tolerated. Companies where this culture is lived on a day to day basis also have lower loss factors and fewer consumer complaints. Far less management time is used in sorting out smaller matters and focus remains on the bigger issues within the business.

Customers want commitment to ensuring all brand products produced by suppliers are safe, and meet legal requirements and are of the agreed quality. They want to know that all due diligence has been taken.
